The Loraine Room offers an ideal location for your meeting or event. Situated in the heart of rural Northumberland, yet just 30 minutes from Newcastle, Hexham and Morpeth, just off the A696, it is easily reached by car, providing that away-from-it-all feeling without the isolation.
Completed in 2006, the facility offers bright, modern and flexible meeting space adjacent to Kirkharle Courtyard.

The main room measures 9m x 7.5m, with an additional annex measuring 4.5m x4m – 86sqm in total. A modern kitchen and toilets make the facility entirely self-contained, with full disabled access.
Environment
What makes the Loraine Room different is its environment. Beautifully situated amidst the delightful Northumberland countryside, and with stunning views in every direction, the facilities sit adjacent to Kirkharle Courtyard. Birthplace of ‘Capability’ Brown, the Courtyard has been sympathetically developed and today houses a delightful collection of galleries and workshops together with a traditional coffee shop, which are open to the public all year round.

Should you require catering for your event, we are able to offer a range of options from tea and coffee to a three-course meal with full waitress service. The facility is also fully licensed.

Whilst The Loraine Room is fully accessible, every effort has been made to ensure that Kirkharle Courtyard is also accessible to as many people as possible.
